Adding another panel string to our solar trailer

Hi all, I have one of the DC trailers and I’d like to add a whole new string of panels and run it through another midnight solar 250. Im wondering if it will create issues other places in the system if I do this ? From what I can tell this trailer is way under paneled and needs much more.

Details of current setup are to hazE, need more infos to give more helps.
Specs of current panels, batteries, SCC, wire size, etc?

As long as you don't charge the batteries at a rate that exceeds the manufacturer's recommendation. You can add more panels and SCC's without any problems.

A single 250 can handle up to 55 charging amps for a 48V battery, so that works out to be 2750+ watts of solar. With 85% derating, maybe 3200W. That's a lot of panels on one trailer? As the others before me mention, we need to start with the specs of what you've already got? Go into more detail about the performance issues that suggest to you it is under-paneled?
