Adding panels as shade cover for pool equipment

A project is never done- just added my sol-ark-15k with batteries- working great.
Have my pool equipment outside my north west facing garage wall - where the sol-ark is located. Direct afternoon and evening Sun year round.
I’d like to build the equivalent of a lean to with solar panels. Couple of poles in the ground to support one end of panels and the other braced against the garage. I can fit 6-8 panels.
Any obvious reason I shouldn’t?

My pergola build with another 4 panels above the chicken coop. As long as its structurally sound I'd say go for it. My only issue was that my angle was off for the accumulation of snow during winter, so I'm glad we haven't had much thus far.
