Hi - I am a newbie, but not sure if this belongs in the newbie section? I am building a van conversion and trying to use quality equipment, but $ is not unlimited, so I'm wondering about these two AIMS Inverter/Chargers. Both are pure sine wave from their GLOBAL LF Series. For simplicity of reference, I'll call one Blue and one Green, b/c one is in a blue case and the other... ;).

Green User Manual: https://www.aimscorp.net/documents/PICOGLF12W-25W12V120V 042121.pdf

I understand Blue power saver mode is based on AC load of >50watts, and Green is based on AC load of >100watts, and I get this means a 75watt bulb will trigger Blue's PS mode and not Green's, but I've never setup an electrical system before so I'm not sure what this means in terms of performance/desirability. Is this a bad arrangement for a camper van?

I also saw that Blue has DIP switches to customize settings like the AC input range and battery/ac priority, whereas Green does not. I will only be using shore power (not a generator) and again not sure if this is a bad arrangement for a camper van?

Last, Blue has battery temp sensing and Green does not. I'll be using LiFePo4 batteries w/ BMS; is the BMS enough protection in this regard or do I need an inverter/charger w/ this feature?

In case it's helpful, I am in the very beginning of my plan, but given roof space will be using 2x200watt 12v panels from Rich Solar. I'm planning to start w/ 3x 100Ah Li Time 12.8v batteries.
