I bought 18 370 watt aptos panels and installed in 2 strings of 9 for 6660 watts total.

I just got a cloud edge that was 8653 watts for about 30 seconds.

I thought one 6000xp could only do 8000 watts?

Never mind, specs say max 10000 watts for PV.

But still, these panels rock.

Figured Id share the pic

Keep in mind the ONLY reason I was able to capture this much is because of my 2300 watt load at that time.
I imagine I would have gotten a smidge more if I had more load, But the charge circuit maxes at 125 amps and 6153 is pretty much there.

Any complaints about flimsiness like some of the threads on here?

I got 20 of the 370W aptos panels a bit ago, they are online and working great (pic attached)

In terms of flimsiness, I don't notice any. And due to a goof on my part, I had propped up one panel temporarily against the house and forgot about it. Some wind came along and knocked it over right onto a concrete footer/paver ground, made a helluva racket, but zero damage despite falling at full force onto an edge/face (it has since been secured with concrete anchors lol)

I wouldn't call mine flimsy but a little more "wobble" than my Hyundai 300W. But those are slightly smaller so prob par for the course. To me they look great with the all black design versus traditional solar panels (Hyundai's and random 100W to the left)

I was looking at these for a 6000xp as I figured I could get up to 14,xxx watts of panels on the inverter with them and face 2 strings se and 2 sw. Still thinking about it, but 6 mounting points? Seriously? How sturdy do they seem if you spaced 2 rails in the right spots?

I bought Hyperion 395w bifacial for my 18kpv and they are nice and sturdy.

Both of these panels say out of stock on SS web site. I want to buy more and get the free shipping. I don't need them immediately and wish I could get my order in and just wait a month or two if necessary.😑

Woops, I guess the Aptos are back, but not the hyperions....

I wouldn't hesitate to just mount them with two rails/4 points, if I was going to spend money on ground mount hardware. But I don't have crazy wind either.

Had mine on the ground (grass so no backside) 8 panels check out this output … and yes 370w rated panels getting 389.25watts each .. and they hit voltage 20min prior to sunrise to boot.. they really do rock… IMG_9688.jpeg

Ok a bit more proof of a good planet.. first is my 8 aptos 370watt panels pulling 2500-2600 consistently even with a little cloud here and their.. IMG_9699.jpeg

Then we have my home install with 31x415watt panels with 12,865 max solar, running into 10k inverter .. with grid agreement.. but notice the effect on power output with clouds… IMG_9698.jpeg

They are awesome panels from everything I have seen …

What voltage are you seeing per string? I just bought 10 for a second 6000xp, Do you think a string of 10 will work? The coldest it's ever been here is 6 F degrees (super rare).

Most I've seen so far with 10 Aptos, still a cloudy day but got some nice edge effect. Limited to 100A with 450/100 so potentially SCC limited for me there.
