Balancing multiple lifepo4 batteries

Get a 12V charger, you will need it.
Yes.
A 12V car battery charger is not a bad alternative to get them equal up to about 80% charge (depends on your charger).

If you do not own a 12V car charger, this is a good time to get one that also charges LiFePO4.

I read that lifepo4 should not be charged too often to 100%. What would be the safe float charge for these batteries? 55.2vdc divided by four is 13.8vdc which is 100% charge.

13.8vdc which is 100% charge.
I use this for my 4S batteries. Holding here for 20 minutes to an hour helps get a good saturated charge.

For float, it depends on your use pattern. If using batteries full time or nearly everyday, a higher state of readiness at 13.6V is often used. Otherwise 13.4V popular. For my RV in the driveway way too often, i set to 13.2V until just before a trip, then 13.4.
