Battery charging 1% less with every recharge.

Hi.

I have the same system and am experiencing the same issue as you. Reading through this thread resonates with exactly my experience of realising that the battery is not actually LiFePO4 as labelled. The other unresolved issue I have had is that the battery takes more than 5 hours to charge - when it should take no longer than 2 hours (as I have been advised by the installer and many other people I have reached out to help). And recently I have realised that it charges to 1% less with every recharge.

Please can you share the details of the supplier that imports these batteries. And if you managed to resolve this issue, would appreciate any guidance.

Thanks

As you can see, the OP hasn't been back for nearly 10 months to answer diagnostic questions.

The speed at which a battery charges depends on input power. "2 hours" likely means it CAN be charged that quickly, not that it will be.

It's a 2.5kWh battery, so to charge in 2.5 hours from empty, you need to input 1250W (about 50A) for two hours.

If it's taking 5 hours, that would be an input of 500W or about 20A.
