Battery Isolator and DC to DC

Hi there, I'm looking to install a DC to DC charger in my camper in order to "remove" the truck battery from the system nd allow my solar panels charge my Lithium batteries to a full 14.4V. The wiring from the alternator and the shore power into the existing Isolator is a little overwhelming - is there any downside to installing the DC to DC charger downstream of the isolator? My primary goal is weeks on just solar.

We need to know a lot more about how the system is currently set up. Some RVs have rather elaborate 'isolators' and depending on what you have, the solution may be different.
