Battery not charging!

I have a Samsung 37.5v lithium battery in my golf cart. Daly BMS 10s 36v 200A.

Constantly getting the fault alarms: ‘Sun volt high level 1’ and ‘cell volt high level 1’ and SOC not charging at all.

Current protection parameters:

Cell volt high 4.25v
Cell volt low 2.70
Sum volt high pro 42.5
Sun volt low pro 27.00
Chg overcurrent 300.0A

Any suggestions on what could be going wrong?

Does this happen after or while you use the battery?
Could the battery be full and that is why it does not charge?

cell volt high level 1; one of the cells has a too high voltage?
Can you please provide screenshots of the Daly app to see all the cell voltages and SOC?

Seems to happen when I put it on charge. I put the charger in all last night when it was SOC 37% and did go up

There is something wrong here; li-ion cells are full at 4,2V per cell; so SOC should be 100%. LiFePo4 cells full charge voltage is 3,65V per cell while charging, so you are far beyond that already and also should have reached SOC 100%. Any way to calibrate the BMS with your battery? Maybe the BMS is programmed for 12/24/48V and since you are putting a battery that is 10S; 42V... you get odd results.

Did you buy this BMS for the battery you are using or are you reusing it from another similar battery?
