Have a Sol-Ark 15k with 18 Ampliphi batteries at a remote location. Having intermittent Current Limiting issues being reported by the BMS to the Inverter, thus getting lack of rated charging and discharging as displayed in PowerView. Sol-Ark does not report individual battery data, thus can't see nor troubleshoot which battery is possibly be causing the issue.
Simpliphi and Sol-Ark have over the past several months been having us troubleshoot by resetting, reflashing the Sol-Ark, disconnecting, bypassing and reconnecting individual batteries that are attached by bus bars and cables and swapping out communication cables.
Been a very costly and time-consuming remote location technical support and troubleshooting issue as a contractor, especially with 18 batteries. Simpliphi states you can string up to 75 Ampliphi batteries together but are not able to monitor the BMS data for the individual batteries to check status through the inverter. Now realize this lack of battery status data is not supportable as an installer.
Is there any on-market gateway or off-market DIY solution for individual battery BMS monitoring for an Ampliphi battery string communicating with a Sol-Ark 15k?
