I just bought (4) sets of Four Matched LiFePO4, 302AH, 3.2V Lithium Prismatic Cells. I want to build a 24 volt, 604 AH battery. I will have (2) 24 volt batteries.Do I need (2) 24 volt BMS'? Do they need to be able to handle 300 amps?

Yes

BMSs are sized based on your max charge current and max load current (amps), not the battery capacity (amp hours).
