Need a cable to connect Narada NESR/NPFC lithium battery to Raspberry Pi 3B+ running Solar Assistant. I don't have amazon etc in my country so trying to find a FTDI chip USB-to-RS485 cable off of aliexpress. Does anyone know which cable to get? My understanding from solar assistant's website is that it has to have FTDI chip, anything else?
Found this USB-RS485 cable, which has FTDI chip and but it lists inverters not batteries. Reviews specifically mention it works with solar assistant which is good. This cable, on the other hand, mentions narada npfc and description is same as previous cable - I suspect its same cable with multiple listings for search optimization. But second one doesn't have any reviews, so a bit hesitant about buying it.
Any recommendations?
