Can I have all 16 sense wires hooked up to (2) 24v packs but only run from one not in P or S with the other, not connected together. Or will the jkbms try to balance the non hooked up pack? Can I tell the jkbms I only have 8 batteries? I am currently running from my old 24v pack and need to charge the new one before I tie the two together and switch to my new 48b inverter. I am not going to top balance the new pack I just want to charge it all the way to the top and then match banks and tie in series when done. I never top balanced the first bank and I have never had an issue. The delta is between .001-.005 on old pack.
