Cheap Inverter - Looking for deeper understanding of operational pitfalls

Update.....

SGP (SunGoldPower) support finally got me replacement boards - took 5 weeks overall. I got them last Friday and was able to fix the inverter! One brick is now working, one to go. They messed up and sent a control board without wifi but otherwise it works fine and I don't care about wifi. So I'd give them a thumbs up because I now have a fixed inverter.

AIMS support never did send boards, and stopped communicating with me about it. I may have found a board repair place... e.g. they test / replace individual components on the board. This is in progress and I may be able to get the AIMS fixed as well - but still a few weeks out.
