Combo cell insulator/wire management, AKA cutting board

I decided I was going to use some flexible cutting board as cell insulators. They are thin, strong, HDPE plastic.

• I cut the HDPE to the length of the cell, plus the studs.
• I clipped the corners for buss bars
• I drilled a hole, and cut a slot for BMS wire management

I think it worked out pretty awesome.
*Pro tip: steal an old one from the kitchen. Buy the wife a new set. Bonus points!

Good idea. I cut up some foam shipping envelopes. Approx 1mm thick. I plan to add more batteries and rearrange things so I left the BMS wires long for now.

I bought them at walmart for $5 for 4-5 different colors

I'm going to use silicon sheet 0.8mm thick in between eve lf280k stationary pack, should be good to give extra isolation between cells over just relying on very thin blue film.
