I short pins on the opposite side from the UART port (no within the UART port). On "smart" BMS models, there are 3 ports. One is labeled "mon", and you can short two of 3 pins on that one (as if you had the lightboard and pressed the button). IIRC, the next port with only 2 pins can also be used. (Not sure about that, though.)
But I've got another really important question: Your charger shows "15.1 Volts" - that's too much, and Daly SHOULD disconnect everything at that Voltage. What's up with that?
