When you start from scratch with electrify an RV or Van, now you can basically get everything DC.

From a total cost calculation, it maybe be cost equal today to switch out all appliances with direct DC. 48v heat pump. 12v fridge 48v microwave etc. 12v laptop charger, 12v USB C adapter.

Would also eliminate the single point of failure the inverter is.

You can use multiple batteries in parallel fed by parallel charge controllers. (Solar, grid, generator, alternator)

The DC A/C unit is the last major piece of the puzzle missing for an all DC lifestyle
