Deye USA

Nothing in the terms and conditions about that. It’s battery capacity size in DC.
So at $300 per kWh whats stopping anyone ordering the full 5 mWh? There must be a catch? Have to pay up front and hope you get approved after?

Nothing about having matching inverter output? Just doesn't make sense that you can do over 800kwh of storage and just run that on a single inverter

Following this thread.
Awesome storage capacity!
What Deyes do you have access to?... If they are 12ks could any find there way to Pennsylvania somehow?
That is look like 8k, a 12Kw is bigger and a cooling fan located in a bottom.

Doesn’t sound right to me either but I’m not doing it.
Hopefully for him it’s right or someone will be very disappointed.

I would guess money. If you can get a 5 MW battery go for it!

It’s DC capacity. Nothing with AC. My interconnection was all AC capacity. I fought with them because I thought that application would transfer over to the rebate side but it doesn’t. It’s strictly DC.

Right but at $300 per kWh that would fully fund a new LFP battery config (and presumably your used lead acids were very cheap or free). Maybe this is something new and they forgot the fine print on the rebate application, all the better for you to take advantage of it.

My lead acids were cheap, but a brand new 2V cell replacement is $20,000. Plus you’d have to front all that money to hopefully get the rebate.

LFP going for <100usd/kwh this deal sounds crazy but maybe there is devil in the rebate details. Or they forgot to work out the details.. :ROFLMAO:

We don't have anything as wild as the US marketing or rebate campaings in here. Like the pepsi-co Harrier fighter jet..

Try a rack battery for $70kWh 🕺

You can't do that.
Deye is do OEM for Sol-ark, so actually it's same model.
And Sol-ark have Exclusive distribution rights from Deye, it didn't allowed export to USA.
If you have be catch then the guy who provide the inverter for will be trouble.

Did you end up getting approved for the rebate or they came up with some fine print?
