Following up on the complains about the poor UPS function I want to add the fact that the EB3A power station also randomly fails to turn on.
You take it on a trip and expect to AC charge it at some point. Well, have a 50W solar panel (or AC-DC charger) with you too because when you drain it to low levels it might not start on AC anymore; you can see that when the display does not turn on anymore. You can wake it up by feeding the DC input, either solar or DC feed (or so it worked for me and other users). The problem with this is that If you do not find this out before you leave on the trip, then you carry a useless battery with you; and who has a 12V AC-DC charger at home? Before I was a solar enthusiast I did not.
