EG4 3000 PV input question

Just setup my EG4 3000, have it hooked to an EG4 battery and 3.3KW worth of panels. Everything setup easily and is generally working well (except the wifi dongle/app which is useless garbage).

One question though, is this unit not capable of showing PV input watts without a load on it? I'm seeing PV input on the display basically match the load on the unit. With no load it won't report any PV input. Maybe thats expected? Kind of annoying however because the only way I can see how much PV I have to work with is to load the unit until it starts hitting the battery. Was hoping it had some kind of resistor or something to allow the measure to work regardless of load on the system.

You are correct. Panels do not push wattage. Loads draw watts.

Gotcha, was hoping there was some kind of built in resistor or something that would allow it to read regardless, suppose thats just not a thing. Thanks for confirming!
