Eg4-3000 reset battery question

My problem with this the inverter is the battery monitor built into the inverter reads 20% and has done so since the first turn on.
The inverter reads the correct battery voltage on the display.
I have read the manual and could not find out how to reset the battery percent of charge back to 100%.
Did a search and came up with nothing.
EG4-3000 with 2650 w of panels, 1200 AH AGM battery's running at 48V.
Any idea's anyone?

Most of those bar type indicators of charge read inaccurate though they do jump about. Yours sounds like it is not working at all. It does not perform any control function so other than being annoying it will not impact your operation.

If you need better accuracy you will want to install a shunt.

I didn't think it would matter as long as the voltage reading on the unit was correct but it does bother me a bit. I have a shunt coming but wanted to be able to set he inverter to 100%.
Going to sell it as soon as I upgrade so I guess I can live with it.
