Hello all,

I have 8 jinko JKM300P-72 panels wired 2 in series and then 4 parallel to a PV combiner over 10awg wire.

The PV combiner is connected (via 8awg about 10 feet of distance) to the EG4 6000EX and while it’s showing voltage input it hasn’t generated any energy. I’ve tried disconnecting the AC input from the main panel but it never charges the batteries. I suspect the voltage never gets high enough?

Pictures attached.

That units mppt operates between 100 volts minimum to 480 max your 8 panels will give you 360 voc if hooked up in series which will be right in the sweet spot, run one string to the mppt but be very careful with the high voltage 360 volts will definitely hurt you or worse

I’ll do it at night but what about the combiner? Will it handle it?
