I checked my system out today and I noticed an alert on the eg4 18kpv that my 3 EG4 power pro batteries lost communication.
I went out to the shed and did a power cycle on all 3 batteries. They came back online but now they're all at 0%. It's mid day, full sun in Texas and batteries were at full charge prior to this battery comm issue. What the heck is going on here?
This is actually the 2nd time this has happened to me.

Switch back to lead acid profile/no comms so you can get them charged back up. Do you happen to have very low idle loads that the SOC on the batteries isn't catching?

Right now it's on lithium, change that to lead-acid?
Yes there is a idle load but that's all being fed by the panels right now. The batteries were not providing juice

There's definitely some type of bug in this software. I changed the battery type to lead-acid, restarted the inverter and now the batteries are at 25%

I would suggest using lead acid until you get the battery comms/SOC situation sorted out.

There may be firmware updates available for them tho I don't think it's a straightforward process. There's a few people here who own one I'm sure they'll have some suggestions tomorrow

This happened to me once. Woke up to power flickering and batteries were 0. The chart went like 90 to 0 in minutes. I found once loose battery wire not fully locked into battery (the second wire was though). I assume it was my mistake. Hopefully this isn’t another issueIMG_3923.jpeg

Do you have the All-Weather or indoor batteries?
