Epever 6415AN and firmware

Hi everyone, I tried to update my Epever 6415AN with a new version 4.11 .

The problem is that I run the update program, I load the firmware but at the time of programming the controller crashes or rather remains frozen for example in the battery or pv indications, it depends on the moment I try to perform the update.

I was worried that it had been damaged, but as soon as I disconnected the battery cables both the positive and the negative started working again. For programming I used the usb to rs485 cable which has always allowed me to use Epsolar .

Hopefully someone that has done a firmware upgrade on a Epever will be able to help you.

I was too scared to try with my ones as I've heard they can be temperamental.

Hi, yes I understand your fear .. after all, I was too! But if you don't dare in life, nothing will ever happen to you!
