Fuse question

Good morning,

I’m in the final stages of putting together my system. Quattro (5000/48); SOK rack batteries, victron stuff (lynx distributor, shunt, etc).

My max output is around 5000 watts. Therefore 100 amps. My battery and inverter wire are 40mm2 (between 1 awg and 2 awg). So the wire ampacity is around 130 amps (rough conservative guess from the charts).

I’ll need to get fuses for the Victron stuff. It looks like the lynx distrubtion system uses mega fuses.

I’m thinking 125 amp would be the way to go.

I’m I thinking about this correctly or is the day drinking taking a toll?

Thanks

Cool. Thanks.

I just called a vendor and the tech recommended a 500 amp fuse. I pushed back and they said it was necessary because I had 400 amps in my server rack batteries. ?

I got off the call and will try again.
