I have been running the inverter on a 48v 16s self built battery for about a year without any problems and only monitoring and making setting changes via the JBD BMS on the BT app - no comms between battery / inverter. Charging voltage set to 54,6v ( setting # 19 ) due to errand running cell. Decided to get the Growatt server rack battery with CANBUS comms. System running very nicely and seem to live up to rated capacity. However, 100% charge occurs at only 50v indicated and 40% at 48v. Have not discharged below this level yet.
Has anyone got a similar setup and can confirm these readings ? These readings are not typical for LFP chemistry or am I missing something ? In the manual it also states that the Growatt battery only works with Growatt inverters.
Your comments will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
