Hi,

I am in the process of selecting some 200Ah LiFePO4 batteries (sinopoly/CATL, are they same?) for a 48V system on an EV. I have seen quite many on aliexpress and also came across evlithium. I have been in constant contact with them but before ordering I wanted to know how reliable they are, and the qualities of the batteries. If anyone of you have ordered any kind of batteries from them, please let me know. I searched a bit and didnt find much info about them. I am also being spectical because it will be quite many batteries with shipping and customs taxes.

Thanks,
Chandra

Is EVLithium the vendor? Do a search on the forum of you vendor and see if anyone has experience with them.

EVlithium is a reseller of product, where & how they source their materials / products is up to them. CATL & Sinopoly are Lithium Battery Manufacturers. CATL is the biggest in China and they make many different types of Lithium Based batteries for every market. Sinopoly is also a large manufacturer of Lithium based batteries but I believe they specialise in LifePo variants mostly. That being said, like all manufacturing, there is Grade A, Grade-B and more... how / what a resellers buys to resell to clients is up to the reseller. Generally IF a reseller is an factory authorized vendor, you'll get good product but even non-authorised sellers can get Grade-A product as well, just more $$….

I have ordered from EV Lithium and they shipped quickly and correctly. There was a bit of a gap trying to get tracking numbers out of them, but everything eventually arrived intact and complete.
I haven't purchased thosebatteries however.

Thank you. Just wanted to verify if they are reliable.. needed to get some 100 100Ah batteries so cant trust them blindly and looking for recommendations.

Oh great. Which batteries and how were they? grade A?

These were Prismatic cells, not your typical cylindrical cells, so they don't appear to come in different grades.

But were they new or the terminals scratched etc.. ? I am seeing so many reviews (good and bad) and being very careful before i put my money on these batteries from chinese resellers..

Hi , I want to share a bad experience with EVLITHIUM company. I ordered litihum batteires from them with delivery to my home. They charged 450 US$ for the shipping. Then upon arrival they notice a delivery to the closest port instead of hime delivery ! Finally the asked for 900 US$ to deliver to my home !!! DO NO TRUST THESE PEOPLE
