Has the 400w classic plan been updated to newer or better hardware?

Will, I have your book and want to do the 400w classic plan to my bus to rv conversion. Do you have any updates to the plan with regards to new hardware/batteries?

This rv/bus is for my daughter so I need the electric setup to be simple and safe. All suggestions welcome. Thanks
