Good evening all.
I've searched the forum and watched Will's applicable videos but have not found a solution to the issue I am currently experiencing - entirely.
Background:
I just received my 100amp Heyo Smart BMS, its a Daly knock-off but seems to be of comparable quality as far as I can tell. It has the Bluetooth option and an NTC/temp cut off lead. Just finished wiring it up, activated it following the instructions and all was working great! Set up the proper parameters for my DIY 12v LiFePo4 120ah cells using the "Smart BMS" app. All cells are matched and grade A, (apparently...capacity test to follow) and were @ 3.272 to start. Having just received these cells yesterday things were going smooth with this build.
The Issue:
I started charging at 6amps which is the max for my charger. Everything seemed fine, all cells were balanced and coming up together well. From my last look using the Smart BMS app, all cells were showing 3.337 and rising. SOC was showing as 60% so I was happy with the results - nothing appeared out of the ordinary. Then.....my charger cut off and the Bluetooth app disconnected? I again, verified my balance leads and BMS were connected correctly, and checked each cell with my meter.....each cell was showing 3.337 and voltage of the battery overall was at 13.3. Verified the charger works properly on another battery at 2, 4 and 6amp rate. The voltage coming out of the BMS shows 9.58V?
Is this the BMS cutting of for some reason or a bad BMS?
Thanks in advance for the help and my apologies if this question has been discussed already within other threads.
