Inverter grounding question

Looks like a gazillion posts about this.
Did a search but couldn’t find a direct answer.
Inverter being installed in house.
Existing ground in house are copper ground rods.
Can the inverter be grounded to existing rods with house or should it be isolated completely separate?

How are you connecting it?
Knowing this can make it easy to give you the best way to ground everything.

Just bring an equipment-grounding conductor (EGC) from the main panel with the phase conductors if needed.
