Novice,
2000 watt Renogy makes an attempt, shuts down quickly.
Contacted Renogy said" not enough power to run the unit.
I had it on one 12 volt lithium 100amp dr Prep battery.
Voltage on the battery is 13.4 also same reading 13.4.
Purchased two additional batteries, parallel.
Purchased 1000 watt inverter, Renogy.
Same result...inverter slightly starts, beeps, and shuts down.
I would appreciate any directions with this situation. The unit is in a garage, mounted on a board without any load. Three 100 watt solar panels, series.

Looks like that battery has a 100 amp output so it should run either inverter if the batteries show full.

Does it shut off even with no load attached?

I like Renogy panels and controllers but I had trouble with one of their inverters and it just stopped working one day.

Check your connections. Even a slightly loose connection can cause a shutdown.

is it related the amount of energy your drawing through the inverter, especially on start up?

im running a 3000w inverter in my motorhome (RV) and can run a kettle and microwave both at the same time from a 300Ah lithium battery from Fogstar (UK)

Try jumper cables from a car battery, which is dumb and simple. See if the inverter works.
(lower resistance than clamps would be desirable for powering actual loads.)

Do you have anything In circuit between battery and inverter, fuse, breaker, switch?
Are the cables of suitable gauge and the terminations correctly tightened? ( cable for 2000 watt inverter is awg1 minimum)
