...sigh...

(big inhale)

...sigh...

Okay...so im building my first Dyson Sphere...

kidding/not kidding

Its not going swimmingly...

12v 100ah lithium battery
2200w inverter
40amp charge controller
200w of panels

I bought the victron 225amp fuse/holder to put between the battery and inverter like a few youtube videos suggest. But that fuse holder supposedly can only do 1AWG lugs. Is that true? I cant seem to find an amperage wire chart for continuous loads(not that i need a continuous 200amp load with a small set up). I just want everything to check out safely but i seem to be running into bottlenecks.

Upgrade to 24v system? Or can someone tell me safe size wires for my setup? Dont i need larger than 1awg wire/lug between battery and inverter? 2/0?

Thanks in advance

There are compact lugs for 2/0 but i don’t know the Victron fusebox.
Nevertheless a 100A fusebox should be fine. I use a bluesea with a 30A main. Because the inverter should not pick up power from the fusebox but have it’s own Class T fuse where it connects and either homerun to the battery or to a busbar.
