JBD APP

Just bought a new JBD 200 amp 4S BMS. I have several other JBD 100 amp units in use. Does anyone know if you can use the old app that's 2 or 3 years old with the new BMS or if the new app can be used with the old BMS?

It depends on your firmware level .... but generally, it should work either way. The Overkill Solar App should work also.
There are some old firmware levels that have issues with the new updates ..... I'd just try it and see.
Haven't heard of anything going wrong that will cause a BMS problem.
Some fields in the config may be empty but will read and write parameters anyway.
