LG Resu 16H - Power Outage - Interrupted power

Hello,
I recently experienced my battery backup while SCE had a planned power outage.
I was under the impression that my battery backup would be uninterrupted power supply but may not have been configured properly.
The power went out, and about 3 seconds later my home was powered by the battery with the lights flickering and clocks flashing 12:00
My solar PV installer hasn't replied after 3 weeks so I thought I'd ask here.

If anyone is familiar with this, could you let me know what you did to make your battery backup uninterrupted power supply?

Well.. I tried to find information on this unit, but I don't see anywhere what its transfer time is. It's possible this unit isn't fast enough to cut over without disrupting the lights and clocks in your home. Most UPS devices like the ones you would connect to sensitive electronic devices are between 0 and 12ms. So if your unit doesn't detect the power failure and transfer in less than 12ms, it's unlikely you'll be able to do anything about the situation you experienced.
