In Will's (excellent) vid 'Budget DIY Ecoflow Delta Pro! More power for less money' he describes a 48v portable system. I'd like to build something similar, at leat 2000W out, but with a 12V LiFePO battery. This is so that I can connect the battery directly to the boats 12vdc circuit in an emergency, should the existing lead acid based system fail. The LA would be disconnected before the LiFeP0 is connected.

Can anyone suggest the major components? Also, I can't find EG4 kit for sale in Europe. What is a good wildly available alternative?

I believe the Growatt is available in Europe. It's 220V AC output, needs a 48V battery, 100A mppt, and up to 450V PV input. I've never owned one, but the specs look pretty good: https://amzn.to/3mzc4MM

Oh, you want an all-in-one at 12V? Yeah, I don't know of any that low. Growatt makes a 24V, but not a 12 to my knowledge.

That's really useful. I have a background in electrical engineering, but 'all theory'. It's difficult to make product choices without practical knowledge of the market.

Maybe I need to go discrete rather than all-in-one to get 12V.... and that's a whole new collection of products to choose from!!

I do remember seeing some Chinese branded AIO that were 12v and 240v when originally looking at equipment. They also made a 120v version for the USA but I kept seeing the 240v version for sale on websites.
A quick search came up with this one: Though this is not the one I was potentially looking at.https://www.walmart.com/ip/Y-H-1500W-Solar-Hybrid-Inverter-DC12V-AC230V-Off-Grid-Pure-Sine-Wave-80A-MPPT-Charger-AC-Charger-Max-PV-2000W-DC130-430V-Input-fit-12V-Lead-Acid-Lith/2086969070
Actually it was similar to this one: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2255799878260949.html

Maybe some others will have some input on their quality.

More detail of the set-up is needed in give a detailed response. Will the additional battery pack be charged from the existing boat chargers and solar ?
Having separate components with proven reliability and high efficiency in a marine application would be more ideal.
Where In Europe are you based?
