How do I figure out what to set for the max charging current in the settings based off of 12V 35 amp AGM battery. I will have 5 wired in parallel.
Looking at the mpp 1012LV AIO inverter.

Most list a max charge current. In the absence of information, 0.1C or 3.5A/battery is safe for all lead-acid.

AGM can typically go higher, but I would never go over 0.2C or 7A unless battery manufacturer said so.

In your case, ASSUMING YOU HAVE PROPERLY CONNECTED/BALANCED THE BANK, 5 * 3.5 = 17.5-35A.

It is difficult to properly balance 5 batteries in parallel. Even if you stay under the limits above, imbalance might force one battery to accept more current than the others.

Same question in the other thread: Hard to follow.

I apologize for jumping around. It won’t happen anymore. Just trying to figure out what to set on this inverter for that setting in order to not do any damage to the batteries or something even worse like a fire. Maybe I’m just overthinking it.
