I just found this on my meter lead.

I have no idea where it came from or how long its been there. I use this meter a lot.

Could this be from inside an MC4 style connector?

Wow what are the chances? Send the pic to Stäubli and ask them. You can call them on the phone too, I spoke with them last week.

Thanks, I might just do that.

Stäubli got right back to me.

It's not form one of their units. Suggested that I check my probe accessories.

What terrific customer services!
If and when I need connectors I'll contact Stäubli.

I'm glad it isn't from some defective connector!

They're the "MC4 and MC4-EVO2" people. Trina made their own version of this and published a compatibility paper in 2019.

Titan Monroe can sell or make you either of these, make customer cables, cable by the foot, cable in different colors (RED/BLACK) make them in #10 or in #8 for you. They are very competitively priced.

That looks too small to be from MC4 terminal, the Male terminal will not fit that.
