4 MPP LV6548 / 30 kW EVE 304ah LiFePO4 battery/ 14 kW PV array

Looks super clean so far! I like the cabinet directly below the inverters.
Thanks. It's a large control cabinet that I salvaged from one of my jobs. I turned it on its side and reinstalled the door so it would open opposite of how it was originally made. It is 1/8 steel hoping it will provide Fire Protection in case of an equipment failure.

It is a DT223URH-N. But I may trade it out with a three pole. Not sure if the neutral connection is going to be a problem.

Drilled and tapped my buss bars. Found you can take two bolts and nuts press 8 of them together and do them all at once. Hope this saves someone else some time.

Finally got the first 304 eve pack assembled and installed. Figuring out the best setting may takesome help .

Some people say the balance leads should be the same length. It's hard to tell in the pics if you looped them (all same length), but almost looks to my perception like they may be shorter-to-longest.

Not sure how important it is to you, but some say it could cause differences in balance voltages being seen by the BMS. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case it seems important to you or not.

The bms I am using gives you a field to adjust for each of your wires resistance. Thanks for the suggestion I believe you are correct for other BMS systems.

That's a cool feature of your BMS. I guess it's still good to point it out here for any others who may not be using a BMS capable to fine tune adjustment.

Awesome work, I like all the planning, going into a nice clean install. I can't wait to get there to this point on my LV6548s someday hopefully soon... ✌️

Starting my PV side I needed a disconnect. I was not able to find anything with a metal case that could fit in the space I had available so I made one. This is 60 amp Eaton pull out box and two 32 amp / 4 Pole / IMO DC isolators.20211226_201824.jpg

You have a very well engineered system. Its organized. I like the idea of using metal enclosed cabinets for the energy storage. I can see a lot time in thought and labor has gone into this.

Have you thought about utilizing any automatic fire suppression system piped inside the energy storage cabinet?

Super jealous of your cabinet! Been looking everywhere for something similar thats affordable but coming up short!
