Whhaaa???? Page 5 on the manual calls for at least 4AWG. 12awg is WAY too small.
4awg is from the battery I'm asking about page 6 where it says to use 16awg from the generator

Oh, for the grid/generator in. That makes more sense. Yes, 12AWG would be fine. You can go larger, just not smaller.
Don't know if my unit will charge the batteries, have not seen the sun since i hooked it up so today I hooked the generator up to it and it just keep blowing the GFI. It has a button on the bottom that appears to be a breaker that is just loose. Seems to me to be a dead short in the unit somewhere.
Sun came out today and the unit is charging. Shows no volts on the indicator coming in but have 35 volts at the line and the battery voltage is coming up. What should the voltage settings be for charging lithium battery default settings are 14.1 bulk charging, 13.5 float and 10.5 low dc cut-off

I set all mine to 14.4 bulk, 13.8 float
