Hello my first time posting here
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this - basically thread title. Unfortunately the support is very slow so I decided to look for help here...
I have, perhaps wrongly expected that the inverter would handle overloads well. My expectation is that it should switch to bypass mode during overload and return after.
While switching to bypass mode is seamless and works great, there's an issue: that after coming back from bypass the supply is cut off long enough that all appliances shut off. Is this normal? Have I understood transfer time incorrectly? According to the datasheet the transfer time should be 4ms which from what I have found is supposed to be fast enough.
I should mention I do not have ESS currently - I am reluctant to invest further into batteries while I am having this issue but maybe that would be the fix? Manual doesn't mention if batteries are a prerequisite to this functionality.
