Thanks for the advice.
Normally I would recommend not having the auxiliary ground rod at the array, either. Because it creates a path to your equipment. For the gradient pulse created by a nearby lightning strike. But since the array is made of steel planted in the earth. The path already exists and the rod is negligible, in comparison.
 
What are you powering to run out of battery?
You still workin on it?
Everything should be arriving in a few days for installation. Should be exciting.

A pretty standard small house setup with all electric appliances, heating and air, and water pump. I think it should last through most nights and the few cloudy days we get.
