Now that my grid is restored after 34 days due to the meter & building it was on burning down due to lightening, I am trying to return one of my grid tie systems to operation.
its an SMA 6.0 us 41 inverter, and it will not power up, no lights, nothing. pretty sure it is fried.
anyway looks like I need a new inverter
cant seem to find a new sma 6.0, looks like discontinued, sma going hybrid like everyone else ?.
I dont really need a hybrid, I have a off grid dual lv6548 system with 6 eg4 batteries, and with solar assistant its very easy to use excess gridtie power to help charge the batteries already
my sma cost about $1600 two years ago. I dont want to spend a ton on an inverter for this 5kw array
so what do you recommend ??
what about the Growatt 7.6 that signature solar has for $1049 ? UL certified I believe, anyone using a growatt with Oncor in Texas ?
do they easily provide data to Home Assistant like my sma inverter did ?
any advise ?
