I want to put a solar system in at my house in Queensland AU. I have been researching for sometime but an still somewhat confused on the right system that I should install.
Brand names aside (I do like the new EG4 on Will's latest vid with the ability to cut off from mains) panels / inverter / battery confuses me.
I was thinking of putting 20(ish) kW of panels with 2x 10kW inverters and 15kW battery bank. I currently draw 15kW per day without any high use items like dryers, heaters or power tools. As I am home a lot during the day, washing machines, pool cleaner pumps, vacuum machines and power tools would be used during the day. We don't use the dryer unless it's an emergency. I have to A/C that, during a good Queensland summer could be running during the night.
Would 15kW of battery be enough and have I over shot on the panels and inverter?
Any leads or help would be appreciated. Thanks.
