Newbie - general advice for off-grid cabin?

I wonder if you have completed your system's upgrades. If you have 12-volt LED lighting, you might want a small MPPT charge controller with no display and just a couple off-the-shelf, group-29, FLA batteries. You could keep a small inverter on hand in case your large system has failed while you were away and you need to power a fridge. I get plenty of power from some 16 cheap 370-watt mono panels and a 5kW AIO off-grid inverter. If you have a system that works, you don't need to replace anything. You could just add what's missing. If I had to replace my system that provides me around 33kW per day in the summer, it would cost me about $8500, including the carport, shopping within 140 miles of home. As it is, it cost me about $11000 2 years ago.
