How much power does the self heat feature use????
They will probably have to be "on" to work and charge so a few weeks in the winter with snow covered panels might leave you with dead batteries at your next arrival. Heat takes extra watts that you dont have to spare.
At least with lead acid they dont require heaters and in the winter they sleep just fine charged.
