I'm a solar/inverter newbie - over a year ago we had an electrician setup a grid-tied system on our house; using a Growatt 5000TL-XH inverter to manage the solar input, with a ShineWifi-X dongle on the inverter, and an Eastron Europe SDM120CT Single Phase meter in the fusebox.
We have been able to monitor our power generation through solar fine, but we have been unable to see our power consumption (either from grid or panels) through the growatt shineserver app. It's displayed live through the single phase meter in the fusebox, but I would have thought we should be able to see this through the growatt app.
Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so - why it might not be showing? The electrician who installed it hasn't been able to figure it out, and Growatt have been unresponsive.
