Question about RadioB BMS

I have a RadioB 4s BMS and understand all of it except the SW terminal and the plug-in wire shown in the photo within the red square.
It is not shown on any documentation or on their site, and I am wondering what it is for.
I assume you connect it to the main + and - but thought I should ask.

It's the jack for a remote switch that isn't used. Just ignore it.

Thanks. But I have to ask a dumb question, why or when would you want to turn off the BMS?

No idea, it's one of life's great mysteries. Maybe for shutting down a battery for long term storage maybe?

They're just rebadged JBD's so try looking those up.

That thing is stupid don't mess with it, you can do the same by opening up the xiaoxing / overkill solar app and disable discharging mosfet.
