Questions about Solar-Powered Fans in Horse Shelter

I want to put 2 fans in my horse's shelter for those hot summer days, however, I don't have electricity near the run-in shed and I know nothing about solar.

would these two products work together? any advice? and is there anything else I need?

I'm thinking, 400w of solar, MPPT controller, more battery. You will need a thermostat to control the fans

Instead of a fan blowing on the horses, what about a fan the evacuates air out the roof?

I have two of these on the roof of my house to evacuate air out of the attic. Mine are similar, same brand, but not the same model. I don't recall mine being that expensive.
