There isn't really a list of recommended vendors - the forum can not take that responsibility and potential liability.
As for technologies: LiFePO4 on the battery side is by far the most popular and safest. You can search the forum for specific experiences users have with particular vendors. In general: don't buy from Aliexpress, be very careful with Alibaba and if you can get them locally it's usually the least amount of risk.
Panels: pretty much anything will do. Look at cost per Watt - you should be able to find panels well below 1$/Watt.
