Hi all. I purchased (2) Renogy 100ah AGM batteries about a year ago. They have been never been removed from the boxes and have been inside the house since delivery. I am thinking about selling them, but I am wondering if you all think they may be degraded from non-use.

They were going to be installed in an ambulance to RV conversion, but now I think I want to go with LiFE04 for the house batteries instead.

What do you all think a decent asking price for these AGM's would be?

Thanks, Bill

They've been sitting in boxes losing charge and deteriorating. Most AGM require a recharge every 3-6 months to preserve capacity and health, but this varies across manufacturers. Some can be good for two years.

I would check what their storage requirements are.

If they recommend a 3-6 month recharge cycle AND if they are sitting at or above 12.5V, 50-66% new price is reasonable. If they have a storage period 1 year or longer AND they are above 12.5V, 75%.
