Residential Solar Plan Permit Set

That good news for the battery and bus bar. I don't remember when the Arc Fault requirement was first implemented. Are you ground mounting? That gets around the arc fault requirement.
No Roof and I did find these certs for the inverter. I did not see anything about arc fault in NEC 2017 lots of stuff on rapid shutdown. I realy only need the permit for the panals on the roof. I hope I did not make a bad choice on the inverter. I also found this on the scc.

I found a guy in Northern California that did permit plans and NEM application for $800. He knew the ropes with PG&E so I could get larger system than PG&E's formula would allow. Because timing was critical his fee was worth it.
Hi Ampster: Who is the guy who has ropes with PG&E? Those skills could be useful to me and I'd love to consult with that person. LMK.

Same, actually. The people i've contacted so far about trying to get my NEM application corrected, have been quite busy. I'm concerned that they won't have enough bandwidth to fix my application, despite their best efforts / intentions, so i'm also interested in seeing if this person can.

Regards,

John

The forms with PGE have a line for planned increased usage in the next year. In 2018 I added whatever amount I wanted to make my 6kw system fit in under the 100% rule.

Again in 2022, I did the same when I added another 1,000 watts of solar. This tile I looked up a heat pump water heater and punched in that amount for my planned increased usage.

No questions from PGE either time.
